What issues am I likely to cover in a Mentoring program?
During the initial alignment process goals will be set and strategies identified to achieve your goals.
Mentoring sessions follow an ordered structure, yet are flexible; taking you closer and closer to those goals, but addressing opportunities or concerns that impact significantly (after all, businesses operate in a dynamic, ever-changing environment).
You may cover strategy, customer and competitive issues, organisational and people issues, operational challenges and financial areas. You may work on a growth plan or a business plan or any specific areas of concern or opportunity. You may simply brain storm an issue.
At your sessions you should cover any current issues that you have and any issues arising from previous mentoring sessions.
Mentoring brings a wide variety of experience and techniques to assist in the process - to help you solve problems or accept challenges and opportunities.
What level of investment will I need to make for a mentoring service?
It is in two key parts:
- Your financial investment will vary, depending on the level of skills and experience required to support you to achieve your goals, and time required, which typically ranges from $1,500 to $15,000 per month. (on a per diem rate of $3,000)
- Your time investment – investing in learning new ways to do things means allocating time to work strategically on your business, in addition to working in it on the day-today things. This time will be on top of the time you spend in each mentoring session.
