Why can't I just keep marking up products by a percentage?

You can - but it won't show you how much net profit that product is contributing to your business. The mark-up form of pricing doesn't show net profit - only gross. You are still left to guess what part of the gross profit is likely to be net.

How Many Different Pricing Estimates Can I Do?

You may calculate (and print off) as many estimates as you like, however, estimate saves (stored on the server) are purchased in blocks of 12. Saving allows an easy update when your costs change.

They can be a mix of Product only / Service only / Product & Service, depending on your subscription.

Do I have to Set Up My Own Software?

No. You provide your financial information to GPS and your account is established with this information.  Your user name and password is then emailed to you. Using this password you activate your account, confirm the accuracy and suitability of the key financial figures, and start using EzyEst.

What About Keeping My Financial Data Safe & Secure?

There are a number of built-in security features:

  1. You are the only person who has the password - which has been automatically encrypted by our clever software
  2. Your confidential data is only available by entering your username & password (we don't have access to this data)
  3. There is a structured process we follow to collect and confirm your data as we customise the software for your business
  4. It doesn't go live until you agree the data is an accurate representation of your business financial information
  5. When you want to print out copies of your estimates the numbers shown are only those relating to the particular product or service you are working on. So the data shown is at the 'micro' rather than more company confidential 'macro' level.
  6. Your files are kept on a secure server that is backed up regularly. The server is housed in a purpose built facility operated by an experienced service provider with a sterling reputation for reliability.

What if there's a big change in my business' financial situation?

  • Your account can be updated by contacting GPS by phone or email. Please make sure you update your account - so that your customised EzyEst can continue to provide you with relevant and accurate information.
